Immediately after holiday getaway split, Pacific returns to court in hopes of a WCC title

The Pacific women’s basketball crew remained on campus during its Xmas break, but was nonetheless equipped to rejoice the getaway as a staff. 

Tigers head mentor Bradley Davis mentioned Pacific experienced a socially-distanced bash in the gymnasium. Senior guard Valerie Higgins claimed she and fellow senior Brooklyn McDavid learned how to play checkers, and Santa Claus even designed an overall look.

Now again on the court, the Tigers’ focus has concentrated to the commence of West Coast Conference play. The Tigers open their WCC slate with a Wednesday afternoon street vacation at Saint Mary’s (1 p.m.). 

“They are a fantastic staff. They move perfectly without the ball,” said Higgins, who was named WCC player of the 7 days on Dec. 21. “They are unselfish. They share the ball really very well. I consider it is going to be a excellent matchup. It’s going to be a more different group than we played in our preseason.”
