(Reuters) -Boeing Co said on Monday the head of its major defense division, Leanne Caret, will retire immediately after almost 35 decades with the aviation company.
Caret, who is 55 decades previous, will be succeeded by Ted Colbert powerful April 1.
Caret oversaw improvement of the thriving MQ-25 drone software and the U.S. Air Force’s new education jet. She was also in cost of the KC-46 midair tanker, which has been plagued by a lot of challenges and price overruns.
Boeing’s protection unit, which has the U.S. governing administration as 1 of its most significant prospects, generated income of $26.5 billion in 2021, overtaking its commercial airplane enterprise.
